Meet InvoSpect
Built around the work.
OPEN, INSPECT, BATCH PROCESS AND TECHNICALLY VALIDATE ELECTRONIC INVOICES InvoSpect is a native Windows desktop application for opening, inspecting, batch processing and technically validating structured electronic invoices locally on your device. It is designed for developers, ERP specialists, technical consultants, finance operations teams, QA engineers and businesses that need to understand structured invoice data without manually reading raw XML or uploading sensitive invoice files to an online service. INSPECT STRUCTURED INVOICE DATA Electronic invoice XML can be difficult to read directly. InvoSpect converts supported structured invoice data into a clear desktop workspace where you can review invoice numbers, document types, issue dates, due dates, currencies, seller information, buyer information, registration identifiers, buyer references, invoice line items, quantities, units, unit prices, taxable amounts, tax amounts, payment information, invoice totals, amount due, notes and technical metadata. WORK WITH XML AND HYBRID PDF INVOICES InvoSpect supports structured XML invoices and supported hybrid PDF invoices that contain embedded structured invoice XML. For supported hybrid documents, InvoSpect extracts and inspects the embedded structured data while keeping the distinction between the visual PDF representation and the structured invoice information clear. The app does not treat the appearance of a PDF as proof that the underlying structured invoice data is technically valid. DETECT XRECHNUNG, ZUGFERD, FACTUR-X, UBL AND CII DATA InvoSpect detects supported invoice syntaxes and profiles using the structured document content rather than relying on filenames. Supported workflows include XRechnung, supported ZUGFeRD and Factur-X profiles, UBL invoice data and UN/CEFACT Cross Industry Invoice data. Profile detection is shown separately from technical validation so that users can clearly distinguish between a document that was successfully identified and a document that actually passed technical validation. RUN LOCAL TECHNICAL VALIDATION For supported invoice profiles, InvoSpect can run technical validation locally using bundled validation components. Validation results are kept separate from parsing, profile detection and infrastructure failures so that users can distinguish between a technically rejected invoice, an unsupported document, an unreadable file and a validator runtime problem. InvoSpect can report technical validation passed, technical validation failed, validation unavailable, unsupported profile or document, and inspection failed. DIAGNOSE TECHNICAL VALIDATION ISSUES When technical validation reports errors or warnings, InvoSpect presents the available diagnostic information in a dedicated validation workflow. Users can review error counts, warning counts, rule identifiers, technical messages and other validator-provided context where available. InvoSpect does not generate legal or tax advice and does not reinterpret validator results as government approval, tax compliance or guaranteed authority acceptance. BATCH INSPECT MULTIPLE INVOICES Batch mode allows multiple electronic invoices to be processed in one workspace. Add individual files or folders, inspect multiple documents, review detected profiles, validation results, invoice numbers, seller information and amounts, then search and filter the result set. This workflow is useful for reviewing ERP exports, supplier invoice folders, migration test data, QA fixture collections and other groups of structured invoice files. SEARCH AND FILTER BATCH RESULTS InvoSpect provides search and filtering tools to help narrow larger invoice collections. Search by common invoice information such as filename, invoice number, seller, buyer or currency, then filter results by technical status. This makes it easier to focus on successfully validated invoices, failed validations, unsupported documents, inspection errors or other result categories without manually reviewing every file. REVIEW INVOICE LINE ITEMS Structured line items can be inspected directly inside the application without navigating the source XML. InvoSpect presents descriptions, quantities, units, unit prices and line amounts in a readable table so that users can understand the commercial data contained in supported electronic invoices and compare it with totals, tax information and payment details. EXPORT STRUCTURED RESULTS TO CSV Batch information can be exported to CSV for additional analysis in spreadsheet tools or downstream workflows. CSV export is performed only when explicitly requested by the user and is saved to a location chosen by the user. Structured numeric values and user-controlled text fields are handled separately so that common spreadsheet formula-injection risks can be mitigated without corrupting legitimate invoice numbers or monetary values. LOCAL-FIRST WINDOWS PROCESSING InvoSpect is designed around local processing. Invoice files selected by the user are processed on the Windows device and are not uploaded to publisher-operated servers as part of the normal inspection and validation workflow. This local-first approach is suitable for invoices containing supplier information, customer information, identifiers, payment details, commercial values or other sensitive business data. DESIGNED FOR ERP, QA, FINANCE AND TECHNICAL WORKFLOWS InvoSpect is useful for ERP and accounting software developers, integration engineers, technical consultants, software testers, QA teams, finance operations teams and businesses that need to inspect structured electronic invoices on Windows. It can help users understand generated invoice data, investigate unsupported files, identify technical validation failures and review multiple invoice files before further processing. CLEAR SEPARATION BETWEEN INSPECTION AND VALIDATION A document that can be parsed and displayed is not automatically considered technically valid. InvoSpect keeps document reading, profile detection, technical validation and infrastructure status as separate concepts. This prevents a readable invoice from being mistaken for a technically accepted invoice and helps users understand exactly which stage of the workflow succeeded or failed. TECHNICAL VALIDATION IS NOT LEGAL OR TAX ADVICE InvoSpect performs technical inspection and validation only. A successful technical validation result means that the supported validator checks completed successfully for the detected profile. It does not guarantee legal validity, tax treatment, accounting acceptance, government approval, successful submission to an authority or acceptance by a trading partner. A COMPLETE ELECTRONIC INVOICE WORKFLOW ON WINDOWS InvoSpect brings the main technical invoice workflow into one native Windows application: open a supported XML or hybrid PDF invoice, detect the structured format and profile, inspect invoice data, run technical validation, review diagnostics, process multiple documents in Batch mode, search and filter results, and export structured information to CSV when needed.
